Ukrainian native, Dr. Andrii Shportko graduated from Midwestern University Dental College in Arizona in 2016. As a dental student he became proficient in digital dentistry, laser treatment, and clear aligner therapy. While still in dental college, he received certification in hard and soft tissue lasers, as well as became a provider for Invisalign. Dr. Andrii moved to New York in 2016. In 2017 he received certification from Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn where he completed his training in General Dentistry with emphasis in oral surgery. In 2017 Dr. Andrii gained acceptance into one of the most prestigious orthodontic residencies at BronxCare Hospital in NY, where he is pursuing specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. For the past two years he has been providing dental treatment and braces for children and adults in Bronx, Queens and Westchester.
Dr. Andrii and his wife Dr. Kristine are fortunate to have two wonderful children: 6-year-old Athena and 5 month old Daniel. In his free time he loves to travel with his family, hiking and swimming. Every so often he likes to surprise his wife with a homemade gourmet dinner and his children with spontaneous outdoor trips. They are looking forward to raising their family in Stamford and want to become a part of this wonderful community.
Dr. Andrii is a proud member of American Dental Association and American Association of Orthodontists. He speaks fluent Ukrainian, Russian, English and is learning Spanish.
