Native of Puerto Rico, Dr. Lionel Vera graduated the University of Puerto Rico Dental College in 2014. After moving to New York City he completed 2 years of General Practice Residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center with emphasis in pediatric dentistry. Doctor Lionel is passionate about all the aspects of general dentistry but finds treating children the most rewarding part of being a dentist. Dr. Lionel completed his pediatric training at Maimonides Medical Center in 2018 with emphasis in treating special needs patients. Dr. Lionel works with children in Queens, Long Island and Stamford. He understands that dental visits can be pretty stressful for both kids and parents. Dr. Lionel offers reduced anxiety treatment with nitrous oxide “laughing gas”, and in some cases without injections “shots”. He enjoys being a part of Stamford community and is planning on permanently moving here. In his free time Dr. Lionel enjoys traveling, reading, movies and theater.
Dr. Lionel is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentist. He speaks English and Spanish.
